Regular UK anglers had some great fishing at Melview Fishing Lodge.
Neil and Martin from Blackpool have been coming to Ireland for over forty years and twenty of them have been to Melview Fishing Lodge in Longford, there were four in the group to start with but sadly we lost our good friend Dave two years ago who has been missed during the last couple of trips. Also Martins father Alan who was not well enough to travel this time but we wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him next year.
The two lads were straight out to prebait after their arrival and it paid off for them. During their week’s stay they prebaited and fished just a couple of venues which just seemed at the time to be full of tench feeding with not a bream to be seen. Every day seemed to be the same with cracking catches of tench for both of them wherever they fished. Well done lads and thanks for a great week and already looking forward to your next visit.
ALL FISH RETURNED UNHARMED.
