Good winter pike fishing for Northern Ireland anglers

Angling Reports - 20 November 2019

Regulars Carl and friend Paul from Northern Ireland were down for another long weekend to Melview Fishing Lodge in Longford in search for some winter Pike.

Being no strangers to the local waters they were straight into fishing mode and out they went. They static fished from shore and boat using various Dead baits.

Despite the very cold conditions they managed a good number of Pike to around 18lb along with a few lost at the boat of 20lb+, a great few days fishing for the pair who have already booked in in for their next winter trip in a few weeks.
