Bert with a nice catch on day three

Ronald and friend Bert from Holland were once again over for their annual fishing trip to Melview Fishing Lodge in Longford. After arriving it was straight out to do some fishing. After the fishing session it was time for some good old fashion prebaiting, and it was worth all their efforts. The next day see some cracking catches of bream so it was decided to prebait again, and the venue produced great catches for the next few days using the same approach.
Kevin decided it was time to rest the venue and move on, Ronald and Bert wanted to try for some tench on the last day so a different venue was prebaited with partials for them. Due to the hot bright weather on the day things didn’t go to plan, however the guys had a great week’s fishing and we hope to see them back in Ireland next year.
ALL FISH RETURNED UNHARMED.
