Nick and Alain from Belgium with a nice catch of Bream

Angling Reports - 11 September 2014

Jean-Pierre and son Nick returned once again to Ireland and Melview lodge along with friend Alain.   JP went off in the boat to do some Pike fishing while son Nick and Alain prebaited for course fishing.  The first two days started slow with only Roach and Hybrids showing and for JP several small Pike.   However things picked up when some good Bream to 5lb and a bonus Tench were caught.  After changing venue and prebaiting a couple of times it really paid off for them as they managed just over 150lb of Bream, Hybrids and Roach along with three very big Eels. Kevin said during this session Nick and Alain had some Pike trouble in the swim and called on Nick’s father JP to come and try to catch it from the swim which never took to long, in fact it turned out to more than one giving them the trouble.
