Greg with a Bream from his days catch.

Angling Reports - 08 May 2013

Albert and friend Greg from the UK midlands who had not been to Ireland for a few years decided it was time to come back for a spot of fishing, armed with fly rods and course fishing equipment they stayed with Kevin and Jane at Melview Lodge in Longford.  Kevin said it was straight down to business with a spot of prebaiting, the weather was not the best with driving rain and high winds the lads knew they had their work cut out for them. The first day was a bit slow producing Roach and Hybrids, they continued to prebait after their sessions which in the end did produce some nice Bream for them.   There were only a few catch pictures due to the decision not to use keep nets for the protection of the fish. The lads managed a few hours a day on some various Trout Lakes and their were some fine Brown and Rainbow Trout caught.
