Jean-Pierre and son Nick from Belgium who are regulars to Melview Lodge in Longford knew they were in for a bit of a challenge due to the weather conditions, some of their fishing days were cut short due to driving rain and very high winds that made it dangerous for the use of the boat. They used various methods during the week which included both Lures and Dead baits, and despite the weather conditions they still managed to bank 24 Pike in their six days “well not full days".
