Jean-pierre and son Nick from Belgium were on their second visit this year to Melview Lodge in Longford and what a great weeks fishing it was for them, Kevin said on the day they arrived they went and fished for Roach and prebaited it for the next day. The holiday for them started here by the end of the day they had a great catch of Roach and Hybrids estimated at around 50lb, after this they moved onto another venue and prebaited it. Well the rest of their they produced four catches of 100lb + of good Bream, Hybrids and Tench. Kevin said you get days like this but to have catches like this all week was great for the lads, they have been coming for a number of years now and are experienced when it comes to fishing Ireland so I’m sure we will be seeing them again soon.
