Neil, Dave and Alan from Blackpool with over 25 years experience fishing Ireland were on their annual fishing trip to Ireland and stayed once again with Kevin and Jane at Melview Lodge in Longford, prebaiting and fishing a few venues produced some good Bream, Hybrids and Roach. Top weight was 110 lb. which considering the weather and levels was not to bad, Kevin said when these guys come for their fishing holiday they know how to enjoy themselves and have a good time. I even had the pleasure of their company when they invited me along to the races for the evening and it was great, the lads said that’s what a fishing holiday is all about being able to fish and take in some of the local attractions on offer.
