Paul and son Ryan were on their first fishing holiday in Ireland, and stayed with Kevin and Jane of Melview Lodge, Longford. The both of them only started fishing in September 2010 after meeting up with regular angler Andy Stone who decided to coach and advise them after they showed interest in taking up the sport. Kevin said when they told me they have only been fishing since September last year I thought they would find it hard going despite having Andy along side them, how wrong was I. The weather was not always kind to them but they both just got on with the task in hand and Ryan who is only 9 years old and his father Paul had some cracking fish and I’m sure if they keep going the way they are both of them will be good anglers.
