Dave Higgs and son Richard Higgs and friend Paul Carnell with 190lb of Bream

Angling Reports - 08 September 2010

Dave Higgs, son Richard Higgs and friend Paul Carnell from Exeter were at Melview Lodge for their annual fishing trip. They arrived to pick up bait and off they went. The first day only produced a few fish but still looked promising. Pre-baiting proved to be the answer producing some great catches of Bream to 5lbs, Hybrids and Roach also featured. Fishing and pre-baiting just a couple of venues during their 9 days proved to be a good approach. Their best weight on any one day was 87 kilo ( 190lbs ). Kevin commented that the guys know the venues and put the time and bait in which is very important if you want to attract and keep the fish in the swim.
