Fishing was very lively around the Longford area with catches to over 100lbs recorded. The main species caught were Bream along with big Hybrids and Roach. All catches fell to feeder tactics using various cocktails for bait, worm and maggot. and has proved to be the best method. At the time of writing the weather has taken a turn for the worst with long down pours of rain causing some flooding at certain venues, this is sure to have an effect on catches.
