Good Pike for French angler Alain Renaudin.
Last week we reported on Alain Renudin from France who was over for a two week Piking holiday and guided by Kevin Lyons of Melview Lodge in Longford. Alain had Pike to 18lbs, but the best was saved for the last day when Alain hooked into a pike well into the high twenties. He got it to the boat and I had hold of the trace, I decided to lift it out rather than use the net due to the way the hooks were set and the snap link gave way ( sorry no picture ).
