David Wolsoncroft-Dodds, Gareth Davis, Brandon Davis, Stuart Duke, Paul Armishaw, Kevin Hatley, Burnard Mc Glackland and Davd Edis were here on a Pike fly fishing trip to see if they could tempt any of the Irish monsters that live in many of the Loughs in Ireland. It was decided that two Loughs in the north Longford area be used for their trip. With boats and tackle ready the first few days only saw a few Pike caught with the flood conditions not helping. It was then decided to move the boats onto another Lough Kevin had recommended. This proved to be a good move with up to twelve Pike landed on some days some to double figures. There is another trip planned in a couple of weeks to see if we can catch some big double, so tune in to see what happens when the lads return for round two.
