Howard Jones from Worthing with his well deserved 70lbs!
Howard Jones from Worthing was once again on his annual two week fishing holiday to Ireland and Melview Lodge. This year they were faced with some very bad weather during their stay. However they still managed some good catches and some good fish despite the conditions, with catches of 90lbs on a new venue and 70lbs from one of the venues used from last year. Pre-baiting efforts did pay off! Host Kevin Lyons found time to have a fish in with Howard at a very remote venue and both managed some great Bream but also managed to lose a good deal of fish due to a ledge in the swim and the high water levels. Kevin commented that the conditions at one stage were the worst he had fished in for quite a while. Breaks in the weather allowed for some pictures to be taken.
