Fishing the lakes and Loughs in and around Longford has been good producing Bream to over 5lbs, good Hybrids, Roach and Tench have also been caught. Again early morning / evenings and pre-baiting have contributed to the anglers success. Anglers from Reading had a few great catches over the 300lbs mark and had to put up with some quite poor weather conditions. With the weather so unsettled we will have to see what it has in store for the coming week, I’m sure that it will still produce some specimen fish.
