Angling Reports - 14 July 2007

There was plenty of rainfall again last week. causing a further rise in water levels and flooding in some areas which at times has made fishing difficult. However some venues in the north Longford area are still producing quality Roach and Hybrids. Some other lakes around Longford and Strokestown have produced some good Bream to 5lbs and Tench to 4lb-9oz but not the weights expected for this time of year. It will take a while for water levels to recover to normal summer levels assuming we get drier conditions.
