Graham and the Lines brothers from Walsall

Angling Reports - 19 July 2006

The fishing has yet again been effected by the weather, bright conditions and the very hot sunshine has seen a dramatic drop off in catch weights. Anglers fishing at first light would have seen the best weights, then come 10:30am everything stopped on most venues. If possible anglers should pre-bait a little the night before and start at first light to try and beat the bright and hot sunny conditions to increase their chances of better catches. Angling guests of Melview lodge from Walsall were able to to put together some reasonable weights for the first part of the week. The weather again effected catches and as the week progressed. As the temperatures got higher the weights dwindled. They were still able to enjoy their trip.
