Weather conditions didn~39~t stop Andy & Steve

Angling Reports - 20 March 2006

The weather has gone from one extreme to another, just as all the flood waters started to recede and the fishing started to pick up again, along comes the bright and very hot weather. The extreme heat and early brightness has caused some venues to switch off around mid morning. However some anglers have been getting up as early as 01:30am to set off in a bid to beat the weather.

Andy Stone and Steve Dennis who are regular visitors to Melview lodge had to use their knowledge and experience to combat the weather by starting very early. This proved to be very productive. They had catches of Bream, Hybrids, Roach and some great specimen Tench. Kevin commented that these guys put the time in and got the results in difficult weather conditions, top marks to them!
