Good Mixed Bags for English Visitors on Upper River Shannon at Roosky and Strokestown Lakes
English anglers Jason, Dave and Jason Junior. guests of Kevin Lyons at Melview Lodge in Longford had a great weeks fishing, with some local knowledge and pre-baiting tips from Kevin, they were able to have great catches of Tench and Bream and Hybrids most days. Kevin says “pre-baiting and local knowledge helps”. Local lakes have been fishing very well for Tench. The Camlin River has had catches of small Roach and Hybrids. River Shannon around Roosky area has seen some good catches of Roach and Hybrids.
